harvest

  September 20th 2014

on the 20th of September we went to harvest we got a park down the street a bit so we had to walk up to the cafe, we went in and got a table for two up the front.
I ordered  the buckwheat pancakes and my dad ordered the eggs on toast with bacon and mushroom ragu. The staff there were friendly, and the cafe had a nice look to it. The service was pretty fast. And  the food wasn't cheep but it was nice
And the cafe had a nice warm atmosphere
I can't remember but I think there wasn't any music, and it is handy because the is an organic food store there two so if you need to get any thing while you're there you can.

Cafe Strada

13th September 2014

On Saturday it was a nice sunny day, dad and I decided to try somewhere different so we tried cafe Strada it almost right across the road to the newsagent in Ivanhoe. When we walked in we saw that it was a nice looking cafe. We got a table right at the back right next to the door to enter the kitchen. I ordered the blueberry and goji pancakes with maple syrup and organic yogurt but I ordered it  with out the yogurt it seems that they are happy to take customised orders. At first I didn't know goji was but then I looked it up and I realized that they were little red berries which are really good for you
Dad ordered a customised meal and he got two poached eggs with bacon and a coffee.
The service was slow so if you want a slow lazy morning then that will be good but if you want a quick breakfast than I would say that the service was a bit slow.
My dad liked the music there he thought that they had good speakers.
The food was nice, and the prices of the food were good.
The atmosphere of the cafe had a nice warm feeling.

15 Pounds

Saturday 16th August

My dad and I went to 15 pounds and we got a park outside the cafe and we went inside and got helped to a window seat next to two other people so that means that is a bit hard to get a table of your own.  I ordered a chocolate cupcake and orange juice and my dad ordered poached eggs with bacon and a coffee. I enjoyed my cupcake and my dad also enjoyed his meal.
All together we thought it was a good cafe and we recommend that you go there.

It looks cool inside and the people who work there are nice

Apte Review

Saturday 9th August

My dad and I arrived at Apte and parked in the rear car park. Dad thought it was good for parking, first big tick for Apte! :) We entered through the back and we saw some dogs so it seems that you can bring your dog and tie it out the back. When we entered we got helped to a table for two. My dad ordered a coffee and the eggs Benedict and I ordered pikelets and orange juice. Service was great the coffee and the food came out quickly but make sure that you get there early if you want a seat inside.
The pikelets were great and my dad really liked his eggs Benedict and we are sure that we will be back soon.

My first Blog! Yay!

Little Miss Cafe Review

This little blog is all about Cafes in the Alphington, Ivanhoe & Fairfield areas. I am an 11 year girl and I love blogging and reviewing cafes. This blog started because my Dad and I, after my swimming training each Saturday, started visiting a different local cafe each week. I review the food and Dad does the coffee.

I hope you enjoy reading about our experiences at our local Cafes.
